This Department will perform the following functions: -
- To coordinate research and publication functions of the Agency;
- To initiate and promote plans and programmes that advance consultancy, research and publication, incubation, extension and short-term training programmes of the Agency;
- To oversee the implementation of consultancy, research and publication, incubation, extension and short-term training of the Agency and ensures that they are consistent with the mission, vision and objectives of the Agency;
- To coordinate development of proposals for soliciting research and consultancy assignments; and
- To facilitate networking with other institutions dealing with Research and Consultancy;
- To advise the DP (ARC) on all matters related to consultancy, research and publications as well as technology transfer and incubation.
